There are many misconceptions associated with remanufactured ink cartridges - here we will list the top 5:
1. Remanufactured cartridges won't perform as well as OEM cartridges.
Remanufactured cartridges - also known as "remans" - certainly do perform, if not better, than OEM cartridges!
2. The only thing replaced in a reman cartridge is the ink.
Not true. At Cartridge Evolution, our cartridges pass through multiple tests ensure that all aspects of the cartridge are at or above quality standards - not just ink level. There are however many companies that JUST do ink cartridge refills - Cartridge Evolution is not one of them.
3. They can damage your printer.
A printer may give you a warning to not use a reman cartridge - but that only means that the OEM company wants you to refrain from using reman cartridges because they want you to buy their brand new ones! It's a pretty good marketing move, but in no way will a reman damage your printer (as long as you purchase the right model).
4. Using a reman cartridge will void my printer warranty.
Wrong! OEMs cannot force you to purchase products solely from their company - this would violate the terms of the Sherman and Clayton Antitrust Acts and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act.
5. Purchasing reman cartridges is only about the environmental benefit.
There are so many other benefits - it's cost effective for customers, and the ink is filled to capacity. The environmental benefit is an awesome side-effect of what we do at Cartridge Evolution.
